I also got the bill…$4000 so far. *eeek*

It looks like we are getting closer. Yahoo. I spent some time making some sketches for Robert over the weekend and then faxed them to him. What he drew as a result is quite promising!
I can’t wait to see the next iteration.

The latest design submitted by the architect is so off base that I spent most of the weekend fuming about it. I don’t understand the problem, honestly.
I think I was pretty clear on the design - but maybe I just needed to be clearer. We did send him a complete layout. *sheesh*

Got another call from the architect - he is having difficulty keeping the square footage down. We’re at 2000 ft living space plus the garage. I told him not to worry about it, do the best he can.
I am anxious to see the next go round for design!

Part of green building is recycling and while some of these used products aren’t green, at least I’m not creating more garbage, I’m preventing these things from going in the trash.

Still going round and round with the stairs. Apprently they take up lots of room and also are a pain to put in. Currently, Robert has them going partly outside. Not happy with this. I really don’t want to go outside to go downstairs. I’ve got a picture posted though. Check it out.
